MPD moved into their new, larger space and celebrated with a re-grand opening/open house on September 10th! The Mayor and Long Hill Township Chamber of Commerce helped with our ribbon cutting ceremony. Our new Zumba instructor, Ashley, offered a free Zumba class and everyone had fun joining in! The MPDC Elites performed and we even had the Brooklynettes Dancers perform and sign autographs! There were lots of fabulous raffles prizes given away and Ms. Marla offered open acro and dance classes to the children! Overall, it was an amazing day and a great way to celebrate our new studio and the start of another wonderful year at MPD!

The MPDC attended Nationals this summer and won Platinum awards for every group number they performed. MPDC solos and duo/trios received all High Golds and Platinums as well as receiving special judges awards. Our Jr. Jazz Group "Glam" placed 8th overall highest score. Trio, "Emergency" and duo, "Cheerleader" placed in the top 10 highest scoring duo/ trios. "Congratulations to the MPDC on all of their amazing achievements this year!!

Maximum Performance Dance is moving to a new, larger space at 1 Bay St., Bldg. 1, Unit 2, Stirling, NJ.! This will allow for additional class offerings and more scheduling options. It will also give the students more room to dance and tumble. We can't wait to show you the finished product!! Join us for summer classes and the 2016-17 season starting in Sept.!! Congratulations to MPDC dancers Maggie, Kayla and Mia! They were invited to perform at the AIM Invitational in NYC in front of industry professionals. What an exciting opportunity!! 

Throughout the month of February, MPD students wrote why they love to dance or why they love dancing at MPD on a heart. Then, they hung it up on our "LOVE" door for all to see! Thank you for filling MPD with so much LOVE! 

Tina Marie Holland and Garrett Steele from NY-LA-NASH Entertainment bring their knowledge and talent to MPD! They offered a master class called "on camera commercial acting" and an opportunity to audition for a T.V. Pilot! NY-LA-NASH credits include: That's So Raven, The Grammys, Grey's Anatomy, Hunger Games 2...to name a few! What an awesome experience for MPD students!

Kalani from the hit show "Dance Moms" visited MPD in August! She taught a dance class and did a meet and greet, where she gave dancers great tips and advice. She even took pictures and signed autographs!! What a fun,exciting experience!!

This year MPDC dancers attended "Turn It Up" and "Groove" Conventions, where they had the opportunity to learn challenging choreography from some of the best in the industry! MPDC dancers shined at these events! MPDC dancer, Maggie, was recognized for her dance technique and performance skills at "Turn It Up" and awarded a scholarship!! 

The MPDC had the opportunity to perform in Times Square, NYC for the release of a new children's app! They performed their award winning routines, Great Gatsby and Knockout!

The MPD All Stars and the Maximum Performance Dance Company will be performing on Sunday, April 23 at the Stirling Street Fair! Stop by and say hi!!
